They are feeling the heat...or lack of it! I just got off the phone with a
seller and boy are they anxious. She's only had her house on the market for
184 days (sarcastic) but the last agent did nothing but put her home on the
MLS and have her company print a flyer. What a shame! The more I think about
it I understand why she's feeling the heat, she needs to sell her home and
winter is coming quickly. Does it make it easier for me when we have lazy
and/or incompetent agents not doing anything for their listings? YES, those
agents are my competition. At the same time I feel it is an embarassment to
my profession. I have a Master of Science degree in Marketing. I spend a
couple thousand dollars a month just on my marketing efforts for my
listings. I spend a couple thousand dollars a year for real estate
continuing education in CT. I hope those other agents, especially in CT step
up to the plate or leave the business. Why continue to make us (licensed
real estate agents) look like we don't put in the extra efforts? In today's
world there are many complexities when selling a home...marketing,
negotiating, escrow, inspections, appraisal. If you are taking on the
responsibility of selling an asset that is usually your client's largest
then do what you promised them. Tell them the truth about what it can sell
for in today's market, take pictures, take a video, target market it!

potential objections that would stand in the way for a buyer to make an
offer, but to exceed their expectations as well. If your home is
competitively priced, and your home�s condition exceeds a buyer�s
expectations, you�ll get an offer � even if it isn�t the offer you want.**

2. * Get your home into selling shape. *Cleaning your home is a must.
After that, you should consider hiring a stager to give your home the
television-worthy polish so many buyers expect today. Assess what other sort
of work needs to be done, such as fixing things that don�t work, touching up
paint, or cleaning or replacing your carpets. Decide if you need to update
your landscaping, and paint, clean or tuck point your home�s exterior.
Understand
what it will take to sell your home. If you live in an area littered with
foreclosures, you may have to meet that price point in order to sell. Is it

The #1 Thing I recommend to everyone
If something takes 5 minutes a day, but saves hours and drastically improve
your success would you do it? 100% of you are saying yes right now, now I
want you to commit 1 whole year to doing this. You will be amazed by the
results and you will continue to do it for the rest of your life.
Studies from an Ivy league school graduates have shown that there is a
direct correlation between the highest earners and doing this one simple
thing daily. It can actually apply to just about every part of your life
whether it is family, relationships, career/financial, health, hobbies, etc.
You will be amazed by the results and what you can achieve.
The 1 thing I recommend to everyone is to write down goals everyday. I
cannot stress enough how much of a positive impact it will have on your
life. Challenges are no longer stressful, they become a goal and just
something you work towards everyday in your life. Here is a bit more detail.
1. Write down your goals everyday
2. Write what it will take to achieve them
3. Begin completing these tasks
4. Start over at 1 everyday
Do this everyday and you will be amazed how productive, efficient and
effective you become. Whether it is career and financial goals, or family
and relationship goals, or fitness and hobby goals, you will become
organized and unstoppable if you truly commit.
